i had to do this drawing really. i failed to achieve something that was really important to me and afterwards I felt so completely hollow. Dir en grey's song AMBER drifted into mind and I did this, working from the hollowness I felt and off the sone which I listened to over 64 times while working on this. It's an amazing song. When the time is right i think. It didn't have much impact on me initially but there's somedays where I stop everything to listen to it. It's mood matched mine at this time which is why is came to me I guess...
If even you do nothing else, I'd like you at least to let me know if you get you get a whole feeling, an empty feeling or nothing from this picture, as a matter of interest. For me there's element of both extremes. The sunset is lonely and the orange is a warm colour but in this sense it's cold The sun is setting, sinking down and diseappearing like it's slowly been defeated by nightfall. On the other hand is implies a sense of end and a new beginning. And the orange warmth suggests the possiblity of hope. Also the fact the yami isn't quite centred in the picture..
